Otok ljubezni - Ižakovci
IžakovciThe Otok ljubezni (Island of Love) is a beautiful clearing on a natural island shaped over time by the Mura River. At the entrance to this green corner of nature, you are greeted by a big heart shaped sculpture, which is a lovely photo point, and at the same time announces a legend that says that this is a place of lovers.
The popular tourist point boasts a floating mill on the Mura River and a boat with which you will be able to cross the Mura River in the ancient way. In addition to the mill and the boat, you can also see the permanent exhibition collection Büjraštvo on the river Mura in the Brežna hiša, take a walk along the river bank, try the “pajani krüj” or just enjoy in the beautiful nature.
The island of love is located in Ižakovci in Prekmurje.
