Logarska dolina
Logarska dolina is one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Europe and due to its many natural attractions it is protected as a landscape park (covering an area of 24 km2).
In its very name, it is mentioned as a valley surrounded by peaks. At the end of the valley at an altitude of 1280 meters, the ice-cold Savinja springs out, and descends into the valley as the Rinka waterfall. The beautiful and well-known Rinka Waterfall (105 meters high) is one of the highest in Slovenia. A 7 km long natural-ethnological promenade runs along the scenic Logarska valley. On this path stands the recognizable and mighty Logar's linden tree (photo location!) With a view of the steep walls of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The peak of the route ends with the mighty Rinka Waterfall.
