Belvedere - Izola
Belvedere is a tourist destination with a hotel and apartments (beautiful restaurant Kamin with a viewing terrace), a small camp with a swimming pool, located along the road between Izola and Portorož.
Past the Belvedere tourist resort, located on a hill (in the Strunjan Landscape Park) not far from the sea, there is a beautiful promenade between Izola and Strunjan, which culminates right here - with an exceptional vantage point overlooking Izola, the Gulf of Trieste and Triglav peaks in the distance. On the Belvedere - Strunjan promenade, views lead you through olive groves to the famous Strunjan cliff (the highest flysch wall on the Adriatic coast).
