It will take you less than 10 minutes from Tartini square to walk up the Walls of Piran. Definitely worth it. You should not leave Piran without a photo taken at the most famous photo spot in Piran - the Piran City Walls. Admission to the tower (june 2023):

The first mention of the walls in Piran dates back to the 7th century. It was set up around the old town, which is today still called Punta. In the 15th century, the walls surrounded the entire Piran peninsula. The most extensive remnant of the wall (from the beginning of the 15th century BC), which you can also visit today, is located in the area of Mongrone.

Due to the narrow passages and steep steps, access to the Piran town is NOT POSSIBLE for wheelchair users. Visiting the town walls is also inadvisable for people with reduced mobility.
